The 2024 tour stops:

The 42nd Annual West Central Neighborhood Home & Garden Tour was a raging success! Each year, visitors are awestruck by historic architecture, inspired by stylish interiors, and amazed by beautiful gardens. Mark your calendar for next year’s tour:

Saturday & Sunday, September 6 & 7, 2025
11am-5pm

Overview

Each year, the tour features 10 historic homes and/or gardens from the 19th and 20th centuries in an effort to promote neighborhood revitalization and historic preservation.

Enjoy free trolley rides around the neighborhood or enjoy the ambiance and beauty of our neighborhood as you stroll our tree-lined streets.

Don’t miss out on our bustling ArtsFest, a free event where you can browse exhibitor tents, grab lunch at one of the many food trucks, and listen to live music.

Various neighborhood artists will open their homes and studios for art demonstrations and art sales as part of the weekend’s festivities. These Art Spaces are a reflection of our history as a neighborhood of artists, and are free to drop into during your visit.

There will be a free trolley running along the tour route all weekend. If you ride the trolley, no home will be more than 3 blocks from a stop, just look at the map to find your nearest stop, and look for a sign for the pickup location. This is also a great way to visit all of our Art Spaces.

ArtsFest – FREE!

The streets of West Central come alive with regional arts and crafts exhibitors and free live music. There will also be an array of food trucks serving up lunch and dinner, along with a cash bar. You do not need a home tour ticket to attend ArtsFest – it’s free for everyone!

Music will take place on a stage at the corner of Union and W. Wayne. Free parking is available at the locations listed above.

For the third year in a row, we will also be featuring Art Spaces, which are resident artists who have opened their home, yard, or studio to the public.

A special thanks to our key sponsors for 2024:

Check out this video highlighting the 2023 tour:

Our number one goal is the historic preservation of these beautiful homes and the historic character they possess. Because of that, we have a few rules on the types of buildings we will and won’t feature during our event. Only one property per owner entity can be included as a tour stop in any given year. Properties that have improvements that did not seek or follow HPC guidelines will not be eligible for Tour stops. The WCNA Tour Committee and/or Board of Directors will be the final arbiter of these rules, and may reject a stop for any reason.
