Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Meetings may be attended by non-board members with advance notice.

2024 Board of Directors
President – Joel Sauer
Joel Sauer has lived in the West Central neighborhood for over a decade, all at the same house – 1110 W Washington Blvd. He is married to Ellen O’Connor Sauer and the couple renovated the home in 2012, including adding back the Queen Anne-style wrap-around porch. Joel loves the West Central neighborhood and is a strong advocate for preserving its irreplaceable history. He has previously served on the ARCH board and is currently a member of its Planning Committee. He has also served on the WCNA board as treasurer and is a frequent volunteer for neighborhood events. Vice President – Kelly Benton
Kelly got her first taste of West Central living in 2010 as a renter and couldn’t wait to return as a homeowner in 2015. She lives on Berry Street with her husband and two boys, who you can often see going on scavenger hunts and hanging out at Moody Park. Kelly has been Vice President since 2023, after previously serving as Secretary from 2017-2019. She loves planning family-friendly events, such as the annual egg hunt and movie night. Secretary – Bethany Pruitt
Bethany has lived in West Central over the last ten years as both a renter and a homeowner. She is a current resident of Berry Street with her partner, Brian and their two cats. They are avid do-it-yourselfers, and on any given weekend you’ll find them working on a house project. Treasurer – George Taylor
Membership Coordinator – Anita Kuker
Anita and her husband, Dave, purchased their home on W. Washington Blvd. in the fall of 2015. They hired an amazing contractor (also a resident of West Central) who gutted, remodeled, and added onto the property. They moved into their beautifully renovated home in the spring of 2017 and love hosting parties and gatherings. They have two adult children and a daughter-in-law who do not live in the home. However, they have two shelter cats, Edmund and Fitzgerald, who have run of the place. Anita joined the board in January 2024, and previously served on the Home and Garden Tour Committee. She works as a teacher aid for Emmanuel-St. Michael Lutheran School and volunteers as the Food Bank Coordinator for Emmanuel Lutheran Church (both located in West Central).
