Electric Works is a proposed mixed-use campus, nestled in the southern portion of the West Central Neighborhood, utilizing the old General Electric property.
The vision for the space is somewhere where community members can live, work, and play. For a current example of what this might look like, check out the American Tobacco Campus in Durham, NC.
Proponents for Electric Works are working tirelessly to secure funding and pass all requirements set forth by the city to make this dream a reality. The West Central Neighborhood Association stands with the Electric Work developers in viewing this project as a positive move for both the neighborhood and city.
The campus has already secured letters of intent from various companies and organizations, such as:
- Parkview Health
- Fort Wayne Metals
- Spherion
- Sport Wayne, Inc.
- Conjure Coffee
- ECSIA
- Joseph Decuis
- Indiana University
- Three Rivers Music Theatre
Check out the Electric Works website for more information on this transformative plan.
