p.m.; location is Soups, Salads & Spirits Restaurant on Calhoun Street. (4th
Tuesday’s).

Downtown Design Standards Process
1.
Re-reviewed timing of upcoming proposed design standards; general
reception had good turn-out per Tom Cain
2.
City is putting a review board in place

EXISTING BUSINESS

Guest Speaker: Per recommendation of the Planning Committee,
Cindy Joyner from Neighborhood Code discussed her department’s role in keeping
buildings & dwellings safe and up to code.
Walked through timing and process once an owner is notified of needed
repairs. Residential & Commercial
process is initially the same; however Commercial has high fine (dollar)
structure.
Ø Question
raised on the process if the owner is not-for-profit organization as it relates
to tax lien. Answer: Cindy will research and get back with us.

Thieme Drive –
o
Clarification from January minutes; project is
in ‘discussion’ mode; no work has started on the project North of the Thieme
Drive project.
o
825 Washington – city looking to work with us if we moved forward as our
next project.
o
1134 Nelson – copy of deed delivered and final check to make sure city
has everything they need to closeout project.
