Membership: No update; but will give updated numbers with ones
received tonight at the Monday Assn. Meeting.
Plan Committee:

Emmanuel Lutheran
Church – vote last week to move forward; looking at approvals. Committee has
concern about ‘flag pole’ parking and any updated plans that the neighborhood
has not seen to make sure they are within historic building guidelines. David Long to ask Pastor Tom Eggold to attend
Monday’s meeting or ask to send a representative.
Thieme Drive - David Long delivered information regarding potential
Thieme Drive updates to impacted areas residence. Was able to speak to some of the residence

Dimension Ford Property –

City wants to know if we want a separate meeting to discuss property.

Motion (passed): made by Cheri Stark “WCNA Board
would like to have City give an overview/presentation at June Assn. meeting and
share what has already been suggested.
Then allow WC residence to add any additional ideas. 20-30 minute discussion” seconded by Chris
Ruckman. Everyone in favor, no opposed.

WC Newsletter – need delivery person for Berry Street on next
newsletter delivery. If you know anybody, let David know, might want to break
it into two.

Thursday – Cheri Stark & David Long – presenting WC at the
monthly meeting of the Assn of Women in Construction – location: Lone Star
·
This Old House wants to do a follow up on WC ‘IN Best
Neighborhood’ for a July 2010 article.

Video opportunity to help market WC; DIDD going to look
into it for us for costs and details. David will update us as he gets more detail.

Downtown Corridor, open meeting – Traffic flow discussion
for Washington & Jefferson; how do you make it more pedestrian friendly;
AECOM firm gathering data and will present findings at a later date. WC members
attended the resident/pedestrian session.

& Berry streets (Thieme to Rockhill St).

Heightened awareness by City that something needs to happen with property.

Mike Anderson & John Simerman met with City officials and reviewed
property ownership of the 5 various properties.

City, Heather, would like us to help find solution.

City can help us with Site Control of the 5 combined properties.

10:30 a.m. 5/18th; Board to meet at 825 W. Washington along
with people from various city departments.

Motion (passed): made by Jack Stark “Directors are
interested in pursuing rehab the 5 combined houses on houses in 800 block
Washington and 1st steps would be receiving an outline of a plan
including financing.” Seconded by Casi Bromelmeier. All
in favor, no opposed.
